Tucson, AZ– To help the victims of the devastating earthquake that occurred on January 12 in Haiti, Walbro Engine Management has established a donation plan to encourage all of its global employees to contribute to the American Red Cross, a major provider of aid to the stricken country.
For each employee’s $1.00 contribution, Walbro Engine Management will add $5.00, resulting in a total of $6.00 going to the Red Cross for every dollar donated by employees.
“The American Red Cross is providing critical assistance in the form of water sanitation services, family linking & reunification, and relief supply distribution to victims and emergency workers in Haiti,” noted Tony Martin, President & Chief Executive Officer, Walbro Engine Management. “We hope this program encourages all of our employees to give what they can, knowing that their generosity will be multiplied several times to support this important cause.”
