Walbro Thailand was awarded the Suzuki “Best Supplier Award” at ceremonies at Walbro’s Chonburi, Thailand facility on March 26, 2015.
The award was presented to Walbro Thailand by Thai Suzuki Motor Co., Ltd. for shortening delivery lead-time and increasing local sourcing through the transfer of production of its VSA29/30 Vapor Separator to Walbro Thailand in 2014. Walbro was one of only fifteen companies out of 235 Suzuki suppliers chosen to receive the award for 2014.
“This award demonstrates Walbro’s constant effort to better satisfy customer needs in terms of innovation, quality and delivery,” Tony Martin, President and Chief Executive Officer, Walbro Engine Management said. “As a global organization, we are dedicated to sourcing product where it is most effective in meeting the supply chain requirements of our customers.”
