For more than two years, Walbro has been developing a new line of low pressure, low current draw, high durability electric fuel pumps referred to as the “FR” Series. The FR pumps are now being released into production and are expected to replace Walbro’s current 2000 and 6000 Series. In addition, the FR pumps are expected to allow Walbro to expand into new markets and applications. The FR pumps have been designed to allow Walbro engineers the flexibility to configure a pump specific to meet nearly any customer requirement using standard components and with short lead times.
